Popcaan Drops New Song “Can’t Box” Shows Off Expensive Jewelry

Popcaan sends a clear message to his enemies in his new single

“Nuh Bwoy Can’t Box.”

The Unruly Boss dropped the new gangsta anthem last night and

took a moment to show off his pricey jewelry collection. The gritty

single is featured on the Panic Riddim, produced by JAM 2 Records

and DRE Swade. “If bwoy diss me in a day mi naan go kill them

night / Same place deso him a loose him life / Bombohole head

buss off like a f**king sprite, unruly / No pu**y cyan diss mi pon

god earth, no / Unless me bloodclat hand naan work / Mi guns and

mi killy them alert,” Popcaan spits.

Popcaan also took the opportunity to show off his expensive

watches and chains including a massive Unruly chain. Poppy has

been having a great year and has a chance to make history at next

month’s MOBO Awards in the UK if wins. The “Party Shot” deejay is

going up against artists like Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Aidonia,

Chronixx, and his arch nemesis Alkaline. Popcaan won the MOBO

award for Best Reggae Act for the past two years and this year

could be his third straight year.

Stream & download Masicka New song “Time will Tell”


Masicka drop a video for his hustle anthem “Time Will Tell” on


The single was produced by Antourage Records while the video was

directed by Sticky Green and Robin Chin. The two and a half minute

cut features Masicka leaving the ghetto in Jamaica and going to a

big city overseas to earn himself more money. “Time Will Tell” is the

third music video released by Masicka this year and certainly will not

be the last.

Masicka has been having a successful year in dancehall after scoring

a massive hit “InfraRed” with Vybz Kartel earlier this year. He also

scored a few solo hits and has been very vocal about his beef with

Vybz Kartel has been releasing a lot less new music this year so this

new song “Hello” will make the Gaza happy.

Kartel’s Gazanation fans have been begging him to release more new

music over the last few weeks, so perhaps he is heading to their

outcry. The single “Hello” was produced by High Stakes Records and

was released on YouTube on Wednesday. “Baby sometimes we

failed / It’s all good, let’s start again / I wanna touch you so much it

hurts / Would you be there for me girl / You won’t return my calls /

Don’t get your friends involve,” Vybz Kartel deejay.

Vybz Kartel serving a life sentence in prison for murder and is now

waiting patiently for his appeal trial set for February next year. His

massive fan base in dancehall is hoping that he will beat the case

and be free

Listen Vanessa Bling New Song “Bare Clown”

The former Gaza princess link up with Chemist Records who is

responsible for the production. Bling condemns men who wants to

please their women in ways that she don’t approve. The track is a bit

like a anti Ishawna and anti “Equal Rights” type of track, so it will be

interesting to see the response she will get.

Watch Tommy Lee Sparta New Video “Grim Grim Rave” Video

Tommy Lee Sparta wants all his fans to party for the rest of the

summer to his new video “Grim Rim Rave.”

The “Uncle Demon” deejay just signed a new deal with Sean

Kingston’s Time is Money Entertainment making him the newest

artist to call the label home. The 4-minutes clip was directed by

Cinema Gods while the single was produced by Silver Birds Records.

The video starts out with Tommy Lee Sparta and his crew hosting a

pool party with plenty bikini clad females.

They then took the party inside his mansion at night fall and party

until day break. Tommy Lee Sparta is having a great year this year

with a number of singles in heavy rotation on dancehall airwaves. He

is looking to close out the year with his new deal with Sean Kingston.

Listen: Masicka – “Knock It” (Aidonia Diss)

Fresh off a well received performance at Reggae Sumfest, Masicka
head straight to the studio to deliver another Aidonia diss record
“Knock It.”
The track was co-produced by Damage Music and Masicka’s own
Genahsyde Records. Similar to a few of his recent tracks, the fast
rising dancehall deejay delivered some gritty lyrics over a base-heavy
dancehall beat. “Wa mi do charge up the matic like a battery / Point
two strap a say yo bad that a mockery / Watch me pull up on them
ends like a taxi / Me see yo gun box a smoke and get dropsy,”
Masicka deejay.
Masicka and Vybz Kartel currently has one of the biggest singles in
dancehall “InfraRed.” The music video for the track also stirred up
some controversy which resulted in an investigation by law
enforcement over the use of guns and armored truck in the visuals.

Popcaan ft Ivy Layne – “One You Love” Video Prod By Jah Snowcone

Popcaan snagged a collaboration with Billboard producer Jah

Snowcone and new artist Ivy Layne on a single titled “One You Love”

and the music video is now out.

The track has been doing well locally and internationally since making

its debut last month. The original single was just Ivy Layne alone and

was released in April, but Snowcone wanted a dancehall artist on the

track and that artist turned out to be Popcaan.

“We felt that Popcaan would be the best artiste for Ivy Layne to

collaborate with on One You Love,” Jah Snowcone said. The music

video was shot earlier this month in Portland, Jamaica. The cut

features Popcaan and Layne linking up in the club after she took a dip

in the Caribbean sea. You can see the breathtaking view of the

Portland hills in the clip.

Jah Snowcone is a legendary dancehall producer who earned a

Billboard Music Award in 2005 for his work on Sean Paul’s chart

topping single “Temperature” off his album The Trinity. He went on to

receive an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers

(ASCAP) Award. Snowcone also produced hit songs for dancehall

legend Bounty Killer, Spragga Benz, Capleton, Elephant Man and


Snowcone launched a new label Cape Republic Records with Haitian

supermodel Tyrone Edmund where they will focus on branding and

artist development. Ivy Layne is one of the first artists that the label

sign and the duo have been pushing her career on the international

market. Cape Republic Records will be the label to show the world

how talented Caribbean producers actually are,” Snowcone added.

The legendary producer is focusing on Jamaican influence music and

is looking to take big Jamaican music projects worldwide much like

he did while working with Sean Paul over a decade ago. Toda SP is

one of the biggest dancehall stars on the planet.

Alkaline drop a new single “Golden Hold” ahead

of his highly anticipated performance tomorrow

night at Sumfest.

Sources inside the Vendetta told DJ LYTMAS  that he

will be performing the new Lee Milla-produced

single at Reggae Sumfest. “No pretty boy thing

mi wild and mean / Mi a kick weh yo foot them

and f**k yo hard mek yo scream / Turn on the

show left the water fi steam / When mi done

with your pu*** yo walk and go in / She did have

a man but she no bother waan see him,” Alkaline

dropping a consistent supply of new music,
